Relevant Passion

I think it's as important as my resume qualifications as a professional critiquer, if not more so, to note the profound respect and appreciation I have for books and those that write them. To me, there is no greater professional joy than helping a great book find its way to a bookshelf, even as a tiny part of the overall machine that gets it there. If I can help writers to put their best possible efforts forward when reaching out to agents and publishers, there is no great profession I can imagine.
